Mr Kipling finds soccer, baseball, basketball and tennis exceedingly boring. Women's sport is not of interest, not due to any sexism, its just not of interest to me. I am enjoying the curling however. For excitement the sport of boxing cannot be beaten. You know a dull soccer game is going to drag on for 90 minutes regardless of the score. Boxing can end at anytime.
Football, American style. So many offensive and defensive intricacies, hard bone jarring hits, one-handed catches, games decided on the final play, coaching chess matches, world-class speed, playing in heat, cold, snow and rain. No better game on this planet!
Obviously football. No other sport can generate the excitement and interest of a World Cup ( the Qatar World Cup may be an exception ). Other sports attempting a World Cup don’t come close.
Rugby is a good game but a bit too stop-start, and Rugby Union has too much kicking. Boxing can be good but MMA is just ugly.

( You’re calling it soccer ... ) I get it. Let me try to give you an idea. Most football clubs in Europe were founded more than 100 years ago. A lot of history, great rivalries, millions of people grew up playing and/or watching football and countless childhood memories. If you’re a real fan of your club ( or football as a sport ) you know those 90 minutes can be pretty exciting, not knowing what can happen in the next second.
I like watching tennis, athletics, swimming, etc. During these Olympics, I've enjoyed freestyle snowboarding and freestyle skiing. I've found curling to be as interesting as tiddly-winks.

Thats a very interesting way to say what we are all are thinking; Women's sport is as exciting as watching 7 year-olds play hockey on a freezing Winnipeg Saturday morning at 7 am.
We're there to support them but we'd rather chew tinfoil than watch.
Soccer is slightly more enjoyable than having a needle inserted directly into your eyeballs.
Hockey, American football, and baseball in that order.

Speak for yourself. Women in MMA have fights often as good and better than mens fights.
I actually really enjoy watching gymnastics mostly because I'm utterly fascinated by how these gymnasts push their bodies to the limits and how they can manipulate their bodies to twist, flip, and contort in the air. Also how they always look like they're one move away from grievous injury. It's like morbid curiosity; I can't look away.
I'd rather play sport (quite badly, to be honest) than watch it. Especially soccer. Man that sport is boring. And watching people belt the cr@p out of each other in UFC and boxing gets old in around 15 seconds.
But Aussie rules football is an exception. Fluid, tough, high-scoring and lots of opportunities for comebacks.
I like football (soccer) best. I enjoy the tactics as well as the pure excitement. In terms of excitement, my team Newcastle has the most exciting player in the league, a complete loose cannon of a dribbler called Alain Saint Maximin.
For actual drama and close finishes, NFL is best. It happens way more often there than other sports. Obviously that's after two and half hours of very stop-start play with lots of commercial breaks.
It goes against the purity of the game, but 20-20/big bash type cricket is very action packed.
Tennis, singles, men, same reason with Jeff, I also play.
Boxing, mma, k1, etc, influence from my dad I guess, and me practicing martial arts in my youth.
Snooker, if it can be considered a sport.
I grew up in Europe and football was everywhere, but I don’t like watching too much. With the exception of big matches, when I gather with my friends and beers
The snowboard half pipe I think they call it, is very exciting and not at all in a good way. When I see those young people flying up and over the slope, twisting round and about and somehow managing not to land on their heads, I can’t help wondering what on earth their Mums are thinking, letting them do something so dangerous.
If it were one of my kids I would be having kittens every time they headed for the slopes. The world would be overrun with kitty cats.
I haven’t watched much of these Olympics - not really all that interested - but I did (always do) enjoy watching Hanyu-kun skate, and I also enjoyed the women’s final of the curling this morning.
Women in MMA have fights often as good and better than mens fights.
I enjoy watching the big names in mens MMA fight on the odd occasion, but no healthy society stands by and allows its women to fist fight. Its simply wrong and shows a pronounced weakness in the men who enjoy it.
Agreed @cleo 10:41p, the half-pipe and pairs skating are exciting to watch particularly Egypt’s team of Bastet & Tivali.

Why “mud”? Why not “sludge wrestling”, or “ooze wrestling”?

MMA is my sport of choice to watch. But I'd rather play pretty much every other sport than watch it.

Women's mud wrestling. The question was "the most exciting to watch" wasn't it ?
