My ticker is just fine but thank you for caring... more than I really expect from English supporters.

@Haaa

You clearly need major cardiac surgery....

England don't have a chance. The Boks will overpower them with their pack.

Heart - South Africa... Head - England

You complain about the Japanese being nationalistic

When did I do that? I complain about nationalists of any country being nationalistic.

but you English look down on anybody when it comes to sport due to your country's sense of superiority.

I don’t look down on Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, Italy or Spain in men’s football - they are better at it.

No sense of superiority there.

I don’t look down on the US in women’s football - they are better at it.

No sense of superiority there.

I don’t look down on Japan in Judo - they are better at it.

No sense of superiority there.

My comment on northern hemisphere teams not winning the rugby World Cup is factual. You can argue about the six nations or whatever but I’m basing it on the big one.

So, yeah. A justified sense of superiority there.

Your peevish, childish hatred is very silly.

Enjoy the game and give credit to both sides for getting to the final like a big boy.

A fair point, alba.

We’ve never had to suffer the Scots media celebrating their own triumphs in rugby, or football, or cricket, or... well, anything. ; )

'boks to smash it.

I'll be wearing some SA threads tomorrow.

And why not? It's a lovely colour. Not as if there are any other green teams left, eh? ; )

Sadly not! I mean, good luck to both teams and all that but it's kind of a foregone conclusion.

I'll be supporting England but I hope it's a jolly good game and everyone has a lovely time.

@Alfie

Except the Jocks, obviously... ; )

1 ( +2 / -1 )

That goes without saying....

1 ( +2 / -1 )

SA's score will be a multiple of 3.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Should be good match but if England plays like they did against NZ, lights out.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

LOL, you want them to win cause they beat us real bad. So if they beat someone else up it means we weren’t such pushovers? Interesting logic....

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Except the Jocks, obviously

You may be happy to know we're not all dancing in the streets in Jockland. Mainly we're breathing a huge sigh of relief that we won't have to suffer the media celebrating English triumph for the next 53 years.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

England will win.

It's gonna cause a lot of beer drinking.

Like you said England had no chance against New Zealand?

Whatever happens, it’s a great achievement by England to get to the final. They are the only Northern hemisphere side to have won this tournament. The rest of the northern hemisphere sides collapse like a cheap accordion on the big stages.

As I feared: England gave away too many penalties and showed no interest in scoring tries.

@lucabrasi,

Are you not forgetting the curling, snooker, bowls, darts, and elephant polo? Real sports. :-)

Anyway, well done England, and really well done South Africa!

(Apologies if this post appears multiple times. Things went a little strange for a while.)

I hope South Africa to win the game. They beat Japan down on the last game with large margin. When South Africa wins, this means we Japan bravely competed with them. Go for it!
