What kind of movies would you prefer to see on a big cinema screen rather than streamed for you to watch at home?

Generally speaking the big blockbuster action movies, but lots of different genres work better on the big screen. Some sports movies, musicals, documentaries... I don’t think it comes down to specific types of movies so much.

there,s those “spectacular” kind of movies ( definitely you wanna see those on the big screen ), examples, science fiction / action movies or movies that are based on comic books. in this case it,s not so much about the quality, it,s more about having a good time and enjoying the movie. then we have that kind of movie that sometimes people call it “Oscar worthy” or just a “frkn good movie” ( most are dramas ). ( depending on the movie ) i might wanna watch these movies in the cinema or at home and the experience is not gonna change too much because in this case it,s more about the messages and performances. in most cases it,s almost like watching a tv drama. a good example of a movie i wanna watch in the cinema ( coming out this year ) is Tenet. i didn,t even saw the movie but i already know that this movie deserves to be seen on the big screen. if you know the director, you know he,s behind movies like Inception and Interstellar and this one feels similar to those...

Apocalypse and disaster movies just have that extra oomph when you watch it in the beg screen compared to our tiny smartphone screens

I hardly go but I saw the new Blade Runner at the cinema and that was quite the experience. I hadn't been for ages and sat down in the middle, but ended up moving to the front row because I wanted it as big as possible. Maybe it comes from having a projector at home.

Action sci-fi movies.

None. I love streaming. When I decide to buy a house I will buy a HUGE wide screen TV and home cinema system.

Sci-fi..adventure and long movies are better..I personally prefer all movies in a theater instead of at home...

it's an experience you can't duplicate at home.....
