I keep Youtube on autoplay, and it rewards me with hours of Would I Lie to You, 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, QI, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, and Big Fat Quizzes in all their incarnations. WILTY got me through a terrible three-day-period of extreme shock in my life, when I needed my brain to switch off from thinking, and I thank it. :)
If One Piece counts as a TV show then that would've been the longest series I've ever marathon-ed. It took me around 70 days of watching 5 hour-long sessions from episode 1 to the latest episode. Totally worth it
X files. Watched so much I spent the next few days walking around paranoid about everything and asking people about their day saying "do u think there were other forces involved,,,?"
"nice weather today!"
"Yes... but it's a little too nice don't u think....?"
At the moment, it's probably the sublime and frequently outrageous The Good Fight. Previously, it's been Parks and Recreation, Fear the Walking Dead, American Crime Story and anything by Jed Mercurio or Hugo Blick.
For the free content, that would probably be old black and white hammy horrors, classic noir and yep, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
the previous comment mentioned "the big three", as they call it ( The Sopranos (my personal nr 1 favorite), The Wire and Breaking Bad ), i remember binge watching these, but The Wire is not for everybody, think of it as The Godfather of tv shows, it can be boring to many people but in the end it,s a masterpiece so for sure it was worth it. probably 6, 7 episodes was the longest (The Sopranos for sure). but the one i remember i completely bingewatched (the whole thing is 8 episodes) was the first season of True Detective, and all i can say is that it doesn,t get much better than that. . . . already spent many hours watching a lot of stuff, but if i need to add one or two more in here (also as a recommendation for you all), i,m thinking of Sharp Objects and Mindhunter (especially the first season).
I basically stopped watching TV dramas and films about 10 years ago. These days it’s just news, sport and documentaries. I can binge watch the news during major events like elections.
Nowadays none. When I was a kid, I remember the whole family was glued to "Twin Peaks". After that, I really liked a psychology detective drama called "Cracker" starring Robbie Coltrane; my wife loved the Mentalist, and I watched along a few episodes.
I find it hard to binge watch as I usually get a bit tired after two or three hours of something. If I like a show I tend to watch it over a few evenings. When I was a student I watched both series of Spaced in a single day, which must have been about six hours.
some people wasting their time just to come here and say they don,t watch tv series or films ( hard to believe unless they,re like 90 ) . it,s almost funny . if you,re just gonna say “no”, there,s 1001 other things you should be doing... with that said, i remembered i binge watched the X Files, but just the mythology episodes, if we just watch those, the X Files is one of the best things you can possibly watch on tv and your time will not be wasted...
To add to the above, British series are far more easily binge-watched, as they traditionally consist of 6 x 30-minute episodes. Fleabag is a most excellent recentish example of this, so if you are planning to stay in over the cold weekend, I can't think of anything as good as this to recommend.
Documentaries at most. All started from that tv series Time Tunnel I've stuck my eyes the scenes of historical incidents with some fantasies-when I was a boy. Now I'm more with my PC checking videos.

Game of Thrones, 3-4 episodes. I also love around Halloween the horror flick series and Christmas time movies such as Home Alone.

In the past, True Detective Season 1, Fargo Season 1, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Seinfeld. Too much time spent watching. Reading books here on out.

To the above, add 'The Wire'.

The Expanse - 3 seasons in about 10 days. S4 starts in a few weeks.
Over the summer, read 8 books in the Corey series which filled in many gaps that the TV show can't/hasn't covered.

Go for a walk or read books.

"Green Eggs and Ham", it's awesome cartoon adaptation of the book.

Easily done, and anyway well worth the time - it's a lovely series.

Me too! I LOVE the Walking Dead!

Outlander, approx. 6 hours.

Watching 6 episodes of Cracker over 6 weeks doesn't count as binge watching.
