White Smoke in Azabu Juban serves up a pretty good -smoked- burger.

I do like the burgers at El pato in Koenji. Love their lamb burger, with a fried egg topping put in it.

How can you eat a burger without cheese? :-(

Nice slice of cheddar and some crispy bacon, sure. Processed cheese? That's illegal too.

A mon gout, when it comes to fast food, Mos and Burger King are way better than MacD.

In-N-Out is the best on the west coast of US. Simple, cheap, good... Mmm animal style...

Teddy's Bigger Burgers! None better, anywhere.

Standard Deli

Shinjuku / Sandwiches/burgers

Shinjuku 4-1-7, Journal Standard 3F. Open 11:30am-8:30pm (LO) daily.

Fantastic and on fridays from 6pm did a burger and all beer you can drink for 2 hours for 1,500 yen, until my friend and I found the place and punished them hard on the beers.

Enjoying Mac QP right now, no cheese no seasoning. And I always have to bring my own mustard. Mos B is the worst burger I have ever tasted from restaurant.

Actually, I checked the sassebo web site Bas, that's why I'm here now. Lol

In Japan Zat's Burger, for overseas Steers or Longhorn.

McDonald's in Japan is good because their burger selection is so different than the USA menu--especially >since McDonald's Japan is well-known for their limited edition burgers,

And you probably know, because of that, there were a lot of hit and misses. Miki-D's in Japan for the most part sucks IMHO. These Frankenburgers they come up with are just NOT hitting it out of the park. With all the advertisement Japan does for these limited questionable burgers, you are much better off with the regular menu. At least a Big Mac is half-way decent, but the other crap that Japan's Miki-D's put on their burgers are just but together shoot in the dark hopefuls.

Hard Rock Cafe is another place that make some great burgers. Also, I don't know who thumbed me down, if you never tried a Sasebo burger, you don't know living. It's the ultimate burger, it's got everything on it, that would make a cardiac patient proud!

Roti in Roppngi make a good one. Eat in Harajuku or Shibuya. Fire House in Hongo. White Smoke in Juban getting better.

In Japan? If you're talking MOS Burger with their Rice Burger or Takumi Burger, I'm interested. It's hard to say if McDonald's in Japan is good because their burger selection is so different than the USA menu--especially since McDonald's Japan is well-known for their limited edition burgers, something not done in the USA (except for the McRib sandwich). I do like McDonald's "Gurakuro" burger, which is only available in the first two weeks of December.

It's fashionable to berate McDonald's isn't it, yet I bloody love their burgers!

Sasebo burgers! Bigger than the Titanic!

Get Real,

Surely that's 2-chome. With HP Fruity Sauce?

I bow to your superior knowledge, sir.

Though I would have suggested KY instead of HP.

But "chacun a son gout" what?

Gotham Grill. Ebisu.

Onions mixed in with the meat is illegal. Hard Rock Cafe for me, though I go once every three years.

Kua Aina is really good.

One of the best ones I've been to is a small place called Bally's Grill. I've only seen the one in Tokyo before so not sure if there are others, but the quality there was ridiculous.

Freshness/Awaji/Burger King.

Bertie,

Surely that's 2-chome. With HP Fruity Sauce?

I prefer Burger King. The gourmet burgers at restaurants like Roti's, Outback, etc, are good but I don't feel like paying 1.400 yen for a hamburger. I wish I could find a restaurant that puts beetroot on burgers.

The Firehouse and Kua Aina are good.

My grill.

I was wondering when the first person saying "at my place" or "at home" would comment.

Shinjuku 3-chome.

Sorry. I misread the question.
