Yeah, but on some Edifier 1600 Watt Outdoor Sound System Vehicle Stereo Speakers w/ Dual 12" Woofers, 3.4" Piezo Tweeters, 20-5"x12" cabinet speakers with that bassline groove will get everyone on that dancefloor.

Too many to mention... when my dad got up he would turn the radio on first thing in the morning and the first song I clearly remember was "Death of a Clown" by The Kinks.

I still remember humming it all the way to our holiday resort when I was at kindergarten age.

My teens were dominated by songs like "July Morning", "48 Crash", "Blitzkrieg Bop", "Lonely Wolf" and good stuff like that. And the 80s brought me back to British stuff like DM, Culture Club and Duran Duran.

Good times...

Back in the 80’s when I was clubbing 3-4 times a week, spinning records probably the most memorable ones were anything underground:

B-Movie: Nowhere Girl

The Cure: Let’s Go to Bed

Depeche Mode: Get the balance right.

Yazoo: Situation

Violent Femmes: Blister in the sun

Haircut 100: Boy meets girl

Freeze: AEIOU and sometimes Y

Talk Talk: It’s my life

Style Council: Ever changing moods

10.Stephen “TinTin” Duffy: Kiss me

Scritti Politti: Wood Beez

12: Naked Eyes: Promises

Q-Feel: Dancing in heaven

Ministry: Work for love

Jermaine Stewart: The word is out.

Kajagoogoo: Too shy

New Order: Blue Monday

These songs were the most memorable and iconic club songs of the 80’s and these songs were memorable classics and kept the floors busy, great times and great memories. Germany at that time had a strong thriving club scene second to the US and UK when it came to dancing and fashion. There were just too many songs to put done, but there will never be another decade that was as inspirational (with the exception of the first British Invasion in the 60’s) as the 80’s. Fantastic decade.

It all depends upon the age, mood, feelings, location and generation.

When I was in HK in the 80s, it sure was Cantonese and Japanese. At the same time around in Europe, it was different.

"When the Saints Go Marching In" and John Philip Sousa from the late 19th century. A little bit of that Mongolian throat singing.

Christopher Cross hits like, "Sailing", "Ride Like the Wind" and "All Right"... Bananarama's "Cruel Summer", Peter Schilling's "Major Tom (Coming Home)...

This list could be never-ending.

The opening theme songs of Dragon Ball Z, Doraemon, Voltes V, Pokemon, Slam Dunk, Ranma 1/2 and other 90's anime.

So many songs from the early 1960s to the mid-1970s -- the Beatles, Rolling Stones and The Who. The Beach Boys bring back wonderful memories, and a Beach Boy-like song called "I Live for the Sun." I still isten to instrumentals from that era -- The Shadows, Herb Alpert, and orchestra music by Paul Mauriat ("Love Is Blue"), Bert Kaempfert and Henry Mancini. That was such a rich period for music. I still have dozens of CDS of songs from the '60s and '70s. They take me back in time.
