Definitely Monopoly and Risk. Teaching my sons how to play them. Still recall great fun with Dungeons and Dragons.

The Steps and The Look Back

Don't know what it calls in Japanese but i've seen Japanese kids playing both games in the movies. Well in most Asian countries, it's the most popular.

I think coustunes and related items from superheroes, such as "Kamen Rider" or "Patranger" have been loved by a lot of children. I would often shout some set phrases wearing these goods, things like "Henshin! (Change!)."
