Who is your favorite 1960s singer or group that is still rockin' on?

I was going to say the Stones, but honestly, I can't think of anything they have put out in the past 30 years that I would consider great music. People don't go to see the Stones to listen to their new music. They go to see them play 40 year old songs. The same goes for the Beach Boys and to a lesser extent Paul McCartney.

Neil Young on the other hand is still amazing.

Robert Plant as well.

The Kenny Rogers was a somewhat of a smart Alec ironic remark. Although, at times , when I am sure that no-one can see or hear me I have turned up the volume and sang along to "Just Dropped In", "Beer for my horses" and "The Joker" :D

On a more serious note, Fogerty / Creedence is missing.

I'm not sure he's still, or ever was, "rockin'", but Paul Simon is still crazy - in a completely good way.

Grateful Dead with Jerry Garcia, Prolco Harum, Jimi Hendrix, Big Brother and the Holding Company with Janis Joplin, Doors, Ray Davies of the Kinks, Ventures, Booker T. & the MG's.

The guy that is still rock'n well and still amazing is Neil Young, formerly of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

I know that. But the questions is "Who is your favorite 1960s singer or group that is still rockin' on"? Doesn't ask if they are still alive or dead. Many people still recognize and relate to the music of Joplin, Hndrix, Morrison and still sounds great today. Even today, people listen to original Queen with Mercury or Beatles with John Lennon. Just because they are dead doesn't mean that their music died, it still rocks.
