Out of the ones put forward so far, Kono. He speaks fluent English and has lived abroad. He has a more international outlook than the likes of Ishibe.

A woman would also be good to have as PM, but I don't think that will happen in Japan until about 2150.

Koike isn’t an MP, she can’t be PM. I don’t think much of her anyway.
