15-year-old mentally disabled boy from Hachioji missing since Friday

Police on Tuesday appealed to the public for any information on the whereabouts of a 15-year-old boy from Hachioji, Tokyo, who has been missing since last Friday.

Kazuma Matsuzawa, who is mentally disabled, went missing from an institution in Hachioji's Miyama-cho district at around 4:40 p.m. on Sept 4, Fuji TV reported. He was last seen on security camera footage at Takaosanguchi station on the Keio Line approximately an hour later.

Matsuzawa is 172 cm tall and was wearing a purple long-sleeve shirt, navy long pants and purple sandals.

Police have asked anyone with any information to call them at 042-645-0110.
