The end is near for that cult..

Why is it not a public hearing?

Why the secretiveness?

Don’t the Japanese public deserve a public and transparent account of the dirty dealing double standards perpetrated in their name?

The Unification Church was founded in South Korea by a staunch anti-communist in 1954.

Well, that's not the whole story is it?

The Unification Church was set up by the Korean branch of the CIA.

This "church" also had strong connections with the Bush family and other politicians.

Why isn't the CIA being investigated?

Just Di It.

And none of this would have happened without the illegal actions of Tetsuya Yamagami.

Took them this long?! And why not a public one?

It does not justify Tetsuya Yamagami's assassination of the ex-prime minister Abe. Only the second religious group to be banned along with the Aum Shinrikyo.

The end is near for that cult..

It's a rip-off life controlling cult. It separates its members from humanity. That's what makes it a cult.

Real religions do not do these things. Every religion has its real practitioners and their fanatics. But these organizations - like the Moonies, Aum Shinrikyo, Nation of Islam (they murdered Malcolm X Shabazz this week in 1965), are just isolationist destructive cults. Nothing good comes from them at all.

No it does not justify, but explains pretty well why he did it. His defense lawyers will be delighted by this action.

Three minus votes? Does that mean these people believe that ANYTHING AT ALL would have happened against the U.C if Abe was not shot?

The only reason any of this is happening is because of Abe's murder.

Yes, I agree these “hearings” should be in the form of an independent public statutory Inquiry.

The guidelines and scope of these "hearings" should be broad, include a probe into its membership and support within Diet ruling government.

This cults toxic so-called fund-raising activities, are allegedly responsible for the brutal public slaying of former Prime Minster Shinzo Abe.

Let refer/call this cult by its name “The Moonies”, a scourge menace in society and the victims it entraps.

It is in the public interest that these "hearings" are fully published broadcast, no hiding “behind-closed-doors”.

I contend this cult has been leveraging political influence within the Diet to buy support during election campaigns.

Was Abe a member of the Unification Church?

No.

Did ex-pm Abe have any control over the Unification Church?

No.

Were the actions of Tetsuya Yamagami selfish?

Yes.

Tetsuya Yamagami is a cold-blooded murderer who publicly killed an ex-pm.

lets be clear Former Prime Minster Abe links to the Moonies at present remain allegation's.

Awaiting judicial process and a court to hand down a decision.

Tetsuya Yamagami actions provocations, will depend on his state of mental health to stand trial, a fact open at present to speculation, totally obscured hidden from public view, Yamagami has been reported cleared by a team criminal psychologists fit to stand trail, however not entirely officially confirmed.

Also Yamagami is mired in a unprecedented administration process by Judges, prosecutors defense lawyers a detailed pretrial discussion to ascertain what evidence will be presented during any future trial.

How Shinzo Abe’s murder and his ties to Moonies blindsided Japanese politics

I agree that Japan should ban this church and any other dangerous cult working against the government - there are several out there.

The problem is, the Unification Church may well change its name to get around the banning.

Tetsuya Yamagami is a cold-blooded murderer who publicly killed an ex-pm.

Yes. And make no mistake - unless he can prove insanity, a noose is going to be ready to deal with him.

Cults around the world should be outlawed. But organized religion isn't much better. Tax free, they sell items for profit to convert the heathens or to kill them. They take large donations to build huge churches, cathedrals, and whatever else they want to. Tax them all and make them what they are: money consuming fanatics. The donation plate can go untaxed, like a waitresses tips, but their desire to control their followers is not much unlike the workings of cults. They do not have to be banned as cults should be, but treated as businesses, which they are.

Without the contribution of U.C., the ruling L.D.P. is subject to be losing the grip of political power and that means the downfall of rightist regime.
