Two women apparently committed suicide by jumping from the 14th floor of an apartment building in Osaka, police said.
According to police, a resident of the condo in Kita Ward called 110 at around 3:20 a.m. Monday after hearing loud thuds outside. He said that two women were lying on the ground outside the condo. Fuji TV reported that both women were confirmed dead at the scene. A suitcase, bag and cart were left on the 14th floor near the stairway.
Police said one woman is believed to be in her 60s or early 70s, while the other is thought to be in her 50s. Their bodies were found about 10 meters apart. Both women were wearing black long sleeve shirts and full-length pants along with their shoes.© Japan Today
