Two construction workers were killed on Wednesday after they were hit by an 800-kilogram metal signboard that fell from a pallet.
According to police, the accident occurred at around 11 a.m. at a highrise building construction site near Hiroo Station in Tokyo's Minato Ward. TBS reported the men were working on a multilevel car park when the signboard fell from a truck six meters above them.
The two workers who were hit were aged 60 and 28, police said. They were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Very sad. Wrong place, wrong time. Hopefully just an accident and not negligence.
