Twenty Japanese authors are special guests at this year's 4-day Paris Book Fair. The annual fair, which started Friday, is the largest of its kind, drawing 1,200 publishers from 38 countries.
Japan is the theme of this year's book fair which runs until Monday night. The 20 Japanese authors, including 1994 Nobel Prize for Literature laureate Kenzaburo Oe, are speaking about the March 11 disaster, nuclear power and other related issues.

I wonder if Haruki Murakami is also attending. His words are always powerful and eloquent. And people listen.

Thank you Cos for the list. Aside from Oe, I am unfamiliar with the rest. Still, it is cool they are going to Paris.
