This adds zero to the sum total of world economic activity or the sum of human happiness. Problem with the world economjy today is too many of these parasites travelling First class and staying in 5 star hotels while producing nothing.

Safe to assume the Chinese will be staying at the Shangri-La.

20,000 people come to Tokyo from all over the world for this?

Maybe that's the problem. Not trying to sound stingy ... but sounds like some of them are on a nice junket! 20,000?

" and that it is up to governments to boost demand and create jobs."

Oh now I get it. So they're showing the way. Maybe they can increase this to 40,000 and hold these meetings once a month in different countries. Maybe they need some more paper shufflers, meeting attenders for this one - where do I sign up?

Is it this weekend? At any rate, the monetary injection will do good for the local economy.

"In particular, the U.S. needs to agree by the end of the year on how to deal with the 'fiscal cliff' and, at the same time, adopt a credible fiscal consolidation plan," the document said.

In what parallel universe, does this organization presume to have any authority whatsoever, in dictating policy to the US or any other sovereignty?

Good, I'm glad China pulled out of the IMF meeting in TOKYO, JAPAN! You know, they should also pull out of the G-20, WTO, and The U.N. for that matter. The World really doesnt need China any more. And besides, Chinese Gold has a hollowed square in the middle; you know why? Because the second a World Organization like the E.U. or a Developing Nation decides to accept Chinese Gold, but yet refuses to play by China's rules, the Chinese Loop a string in through that hollowed square and yank their gold back!!
