At least another person was saved from the sea. Cannot imagine being in an ocean after my ship sank and hoping for salvation. Hope they find more alive.

I can't believe the ship with all modern gadgets ran straight into a typhoon. The captain was dumber than the other guy who beached his ship for wifi signal

Master, First Officer, Chief Engineer, Second Engineer I'll bet.

The Captain is from the Philippines.

Two crew members from New Zealand and two from Australia were not sailors -- they were looking after the cows. At least one, a 25-year-old from Australia was a veterinarian.

The total crew included 39 from the Philippines, two from New Zealand and two from Australia.

Master, First Officer, Chief Engineer, Second Engineer I'll bet.

Cool raft. Pity it could not have saved more. What do they do with these afterwards, I wonder?

Let's take a minute to remember our cousins from the Philippines, many of them doing crap jobs around the world to support our lifestyles.

Actually, our jobs support their lifestyles

he ship should not have sailed on stormy water by typhoon in the first place.

You must be very ignorant of sailing times from NZ to China.

Good job for the Japan Coastguard. Good luck for their operations under terrible weather conditions.

The brains of this operation needs to be checked. Start with weather monitoring.

They are dairy cows and would of been caged for life and the life milked out of them.

Animal Cruelty is what I call this, I pray for all the killed cows then the Humans. Going to China to be slaughtered is't a better end.

I don’t think anyone would ever mistake me for being a vegan animal rights junkie but there is something very troubling about cows stacked in cages 4 high on a ship for five days from NZ to China.
