3 family members confirmed dead in landslide in western Japan

Luckily we seem to have missed the worst of the rain.

If there is a worse way to go. others will have to tell me what it is. Buried alive in mud or crushed to death by it is the stuff of nightmares. If that retaining wall had been there maybe at least these folks might have lived. I don't want to think about it.
