There isn't any way to remove melted corium from the plant, it is far too dangerous! The damaged plant will emit radiation for thousands it years.....

I thought the icewall was abandoned, like the water purification systems.

I hope for their speedy recovery and hope they're not just simply shipped back home afterwards. I doubt there will be a follow up story of their fait. Does anyone know if there has been any progress on the Icewall?
