China remains a one party authoritarian dictatorship. People forget that because of the amount of business and trade we all do with them. China likes to push the image that they are like all the other "democratic" nations. But they're not. People who travel to China for whatever reason need to be aware to avoid such incidents.

Well, as the saying goes “once a a commy, always a commy”. Russia, China and the prime example North Korea of course, if they have gripes with another country, they take it out on unsuspecting citizens of those countries. You get invited to do a job in China, which lands you in jail. What a joke of a government.
