6-year-old girl drowns after falling into river in Fukuoka Prefecture

I know these stories must be reported, my opinions of the media in general notwithstanding, but I wish I wouldn't have to read these stories. The loss of innocent life is always hard to hear.

Old guardians + gengki children + river nearby = a tragedy like this

A sad accident that shows very creaky how quickly kids can die around water. Watch your kids closely people!

There were a number of incidents reported on the news last night involving young children drowning or being found unconscious in the water. A 4 year old boy was found floating in a fenced off school pool after either climbing over or through the fenced off pool. Another fell into a large pond near a shrine, ES 1st year, and this one here. Also a 46 year old man was found floating in a river as well.

This is a sad time of year in Japan when crap like this happens.

At around 60, people here are expected to be ditzy. Great sitters for kids age eight or so. Under that, I've found them shockingly careless.

So the responsible adult did not take the children somewhere SAFE to play, like a park.

This is where an AUTOPSY would be useful!!
