The bodies of a 79-year-old woman and her 55-year-old son were found on the ground outside their apartment building in Tokyo's Katsushika Ward, in what police believe may have been a murder-suicide.

According to police, the bodies were found just after 9 a.m. on Saturday after a local resident called 119. The bodies were identified as Kazuko Kinoshita and her oldest son Hirokazu, who lived in a sixth-floor apartment, Yahoo News reported. They were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Police said Hirokazu may have forced his mother over the handrail of the corridor on the 6th floor and then jumped right after her. The mother could not walk very well due to a disability, police said.

B.I. Sharma is probably being optimistic unfortunately in thinking that all suicides can be avoided with proper guidance, but nonetheless is right, it can help a lot. But the problem is for people contemplating suicide to be prepared to take advantage of help when they are in such a negative state of mind, and another is for relatives and friends to actually recognise the symptoms so that they can persuade the sufferer to seek help. Here in Victoria, Australia we have "Beyond Blue", a service which advertises quite heavily and provides advice and assistance to sufferers and relatives, including how to recognise the symptoms in oneself and others. That's the starting point - recognition that there IS a problem.

LDP ,Komeito along with other political parties should launch a vigorous campaign the Japan and properly educate all citizens against committing suicides in the country whatever may the adverse circumstances and difficulties they may be facing in the country. They should instead seen help from the counselling centers before taking any extreme step in life. All these suicides can be avoided with proper guidance.
