These animals are very dangerous in confined spaces and it's very lucky that nobody was injured.

There was no need to kill the animals. They should have been tranqued and released back into the wild.

The boars were shot dead with stun guns at the school, a Kyoto city official told AFP on Thursday.

I'm guessing they weren't 'stun guns' if they were both shot dead with them.

Glad they killed these things. Very dangerous and unpredictable.

Is this a thing, schools have stun guns? Interesting, wonder what the expected use of them is (surely boar invasions is not the primary driver for these)?

Or I guess they were there long enough for the municipal authorities to bring one, that makes more sense - need another tea this morning I guess......

It's a shame they had to meet such an end... they weren't doing anything wrong.

Anyone got a link to this television footage? I would like to see it. Not every day I sea a boar in a swimming pool

Saw it on YouTube last night. I had no idea they swam!
