Emperor emeritus Akihito recovers after briefly losing consciousness

really have a lot of respect Emperor emeritus Akihito and his wife, wish many of the right wing nutters would wake up and watch how a proper head of state should act when representing their country

May they both live long(er), and prosper.

Banzai indeed.  Although this happens to me sometimes also, so not toooo concerned.

Prayers for a speedy recovery and respect Emperor emeritus Akihito, get well. I really wish the media would not pressure him any longer in the spotlight as he has more than earned his privacy.

I truly hope that his majesty will have a good recover,his life and his admirable efforts to promote peace and admit the historical events of his country are remarkable.

They are both at the end of thir tether, anyone who thinks they are going to last much longer with their health problems is just being cruel. I hope for them their family and this country they get a restful peaceful sleep they have served enough.

Emperor Emeritus? Just learned a new word. Anyway, I hope he enjoys his retirement.

I’m glad that he recovered. I am also really glad that the Diet made this exemption so that way he could step down from the throne. Because it wouldn’t do anybody any good if he was forced to continue to be the emperor, considering his failing health.
