I doubt very much any potential Japanese tourists to Guam were put off much by N. Korea's threat... especially considering the idiot in the North has also threatened Japan itself countless times too.

Good photo. A really happy looking pair of guys. The right way to deal with Kim's nonsense.

Good point!

Debatable they could even hit Guam, let alone being nuts enough to shoot at it in the first place.

Glad people realized those missile news were just hyped to the limit.

everything is fine! please do not take our tourism money!

Did people seriously believe this attack was going to happen?!

How on earth are the authorities in Guam able to give any reassurance about a dictator in North Korea?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

@kurosupisu... spot on mate! Other people on this comment section are living in their own bubble by totally dismissing the threat by North Korea! The day ( which is not far ) is coming when they will fire their missiles toward Guam and also aim a few at Japan. Then the next war will start and people who are so oblivious here on this comment section will realize the realities of life and death in that sense!

Highly unlikely.

Don't give in to the fear. That's what despots in Pyongyang and Washington want.

Kim never said he will target Guam.

His plan was to let those dummy missiles land 80 miles offshore.

Considering the technology NK have now it's probable those empty unarmed projectiles will fall even 120 miles away.

Only those warmongers are hyping the alleged dangers of Pyongyang's missiles.

It seems the one being paranoid is Japan not Guam after K.J.'s death threat!

I like Guam actually and like getting outside of the tourist area where most people hang out. It is a good place to get my fix of U.S. products and food. Asking around though, when I mention my hopes of going to Guam, people talk about Guam being so dangerous. People here should ask around and see for yourself. The media has spooked people again like they usually do.

Guam people were warned don't get out from house when missile hit water. Wait until. they notice. That was when Trump insulted Kim ad Kim revealed it will take 14 hours to reach Guam.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

14 hours to Guam, Toshiko? That missile would be moving slower than a tropical storm on qualudes.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Nah, scratch that. A seagull on shrooms makes a better punchline.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Sorry 14 mites too Guam injapa, nearby prefectures oooof those four states had alarm sound. tests.

The missiles will land in international waters what is the problem

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Kim has only ever hit ocean with his missiles.  given that is over 70% of the Earth's surface tells you all you need to know about his threat.  now if he were threatening to shell Seoul, that would be different.  But he doesn't do that as then SK would have to take him seriously.

Indeed. The places I've been and seen; there's always someone who says to me - "oh but what about the war/danger/unrest/earthquakes etc".

I tell them that there are no wars currently taking place in the UK, Korea, Cyprus, Croatia, France or the 6 counties/NI etc.

If the Japanese Govt is so concerned about missiles flying overhead on the way to Guam that they are arranging drills for schoolchildren and unnecessarily scaremongering, why do they not issue a travel advisory for Guam itself?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

@Mlodlnow: Guam is US territory. US commanding officer issued warning already. It is. none of Japanese business now.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

I can understand someone thinking Guam is some tropical paradise and going to once, but who would go a second time? Dreadful place.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

@Euc: N Korea announced how many miles its ICBM will fly and also mentioned 14 minutes to. reach Guam. Announcement was toward Trump. Then Japanese Gov't revealed existence of PAC3 missile interference system and NHK showed they were going to be replayed to four prefectures that will be unndé route of missile going to Guam.
