Japan on Monday reported 15,167 new coronavirus cases, down 14,325 from Sunday. Tokyo reported 1,673 new cases, down 1,319 from Sunday.
The number of infected people hospitalized with severe symptoms in Tokyo is 14, up one from Sunday, health officials said. The nationwide number is 162, unchanged from Sunday.
The number of coronavirus-related deaths reported nationwide was 53.

Excellent low numbers today as we see an end to this ghastly wave. Hospitals are at low capacity, there is a new booster for the vulnerable and insecure, it’s all good bruv.
