Japan reports 32,459 new coronavirus cases

Japan on Sunday reported 32,459 new coronavirus cases, down 6,122 from Saturday. Tokyo reported 2,287 new cases, down 705 from Saturday.

The number of infected people hospitalized with severe symptoms in Tokyo was 38, up four from Saturday, health officials said. The nationwide figure was 405, down 19 from Saturday.

The number of coronavirus-related deaths reported nationwide was 188.

At least this is no longer headlines, remove those restrictive face covers and move on. 188 cv related deaths, yes but, what was the actual cause of death.

@MumbaiRocks - At least you tried. We need more people like you breaking through the stifling conformity. I stopped masking indoors a couple of months ago and have yet to receive any bother. Keep at it.

Likewise to forgoing the facial cosplay drapery. Today was asked "rules" to wear one in a tiny corner farmer's marketing store that is wide open to the street. I donned my symbolic, handmade face shield so the cashier would calm down, and took it off the second I left. Sheesh. Will return after 8 March, when hopefully their sanity has returned. The more people unmask, the stronger will be the social agreement to defenestrate. Saw a record of 30 free faces today in Tokyo. It is getting better.
