Just a week until all the tourists come to give the economy a much needed boost! Lets hope cases continue to fall regardless, if not its still okay and it won't get anywhere near the 1st half of 2022 wave that all developes countries experienced as their 'main' outbreak.

theResident, Unless you count life in Japan as "normal",with the eradication of 85% of people's visible faces, I truly beg to differ. It is creepy beyond endurance that faces are gone to the status of former horror stories in Japan as "faceless ghosts".

It is actually opening now though - you can literally book a flight right now and be here next Tuesday, no sweat!

Wow - lot of cases and deaths for a country that supposedly has reduced the risk greatly via the implementation of vaccines. Kind of seems like the risk is about the same as it was before, but "muh higher transmission rate" screeches the pharmaceutical industry!
