Want hear something weird? Everyone I know (here in Japan and overseas) who is not vaccinated (and I know quite a few) has never caught Covid (that they are aware of).

And those same people do not wear masks.

And everyone that I know that has caught Covid (and I know a lot) has been vaccinated.

weird eh

That is not weird!

That Is called reality.

But too many people do still completely ignore the reality and instead of accepting the reality they got brainwashed by listening to the daily BS the experts spread day in day out about the vaccines, and additional wondering why the cases are increasing even they are vaccinated.

If they would stop ignoring the reality, then they would hopefully finally see that the world needs a different approach to fight the virus, instead of puting nonstop a needle with a meaningless fluid into your body.

Best example is the 4th shot.

Go to the other thread on JT here from today according vaccination for 6 months old babies.

I posted a part of an article according a study about the 4th shot, which clearly prove how meaningless and unnessasary the 4th shot is.

Case numbers are NOT irrelevant! More cases means more deaths, even if the mortality rate is reduced. Japan is in for a rough winter. Daily cases will probably reach one million, hospitalizations rates will soar, and new records for daily deaths will be set.

Honestly, ever taxpayer should be refunded for the billions of dollars that were wasted on vaccines that did not significantly reduce viral transmission. That comes out to 128,000円 per person!

Mask wearing is a rare sight now in the UK, I've only warn one once and that was last week in a routine Aorta scan (65 years) at the request of the 2 nurses present, there was no requirement to wear one whilst walking around hospital.

I've had my 4th booster along with flu vaccine a couple of weeks ago so there is no more I can or want to do.

Numbers are irrelevant in other parts of the world. Even the winter wave predicted in Europe is fizzling out. What makes Japan so precious or special that they obsess about with ridiculous plastic shields and ubiquitous masking? It’s becoming very embarrassing to be honest.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying they don’t exist, but I can honestly say that for of those that I know. And those same people do not wear masks.

how everyone goes on about it here, it shouldn’t be statistically possible.

But there it is.

Since it is well recognized that China hides the vast majority of the deaths, does not count those that are direct product of the policy (for example by interrupting access to hospitals or by loss of income) that means your argument runs completely invalid.

When facts contradict your personal beliefs, just conjure up a conspiracy!

The WHO agency does note that countries like the US hides deaths (believe them?):

Covid-19’s full death toll is nearly three times higher than reported, WHO data suggests

https://edition.cnn.com/2022/05/05/health/covid-excess-mortality-who-data/index.html

This is the reason why the Chinese is not recommended by the international experts, it is not only unsustainable but requires hiding information to appear as positive.

The experts from countries where over a million Covid relates deaths? Do tell!

Since there are not zero cases that means that is how it does not works.

To all the people taking about how, I had it and it was like the flu,” this is an extract from a longer corpus of self-reports of having Long Covid. “Before Covid I ran five to 10 miles and lifted weights six days per week. When I tested positive in October 2021, it was mild, I was able to work remotely all week. I’m still bed and sofa-bound in dark quiet rooms and I’m unable to perform any activity longer than 10 minutes. I only leave the house for medical appointments because the stimulation causes severe fatigue that lasts for days to weeks. When I leave I use a wheelchair and use a walker in the house. I shower just every four days because [exertion] knocks me down for a full day afterwards. (Edited for brevity) My job terminated me in June and I’m a shadow of my former self. “ Give me as many thumbs down as you like, I really don’t care, just be careful out there and take this thing seriously.

The main reason I think is, that the viruses here still ‘find’ enough people, who are still uninflected so far, to target and lock on, because all the former ‘waves’ were so low on average. In many other countries the opposite is valid, they were stricken hardly during the first or former waves and have now a time frame of lower infections , because still vaccinations or immunity levels are sufficient to avoid greater outbreaks. And as they are all cancelled wearing of masks and other restrictions, there will be coming the opposite again and they run into their bigger waves sooner or later again, because immunity levels shrink fast and new variants may find their way to strike again.

reckon you should all get the latest and greatest vaccines! NOW! BEFORE it is too late! /

That's good advice. I'm lined up for mine this weekend. That with my mask, will definitely give me peace of mind seeing that the 8th wave is upon us.

if those measures are working so well in this heavily masked and vaxxed country, how come the numbers - assuming they're even remotely accurate - are going up?

As it has been explained repeatedly this is a combination of relaxation of measures, highly transmissible variants and a focus on preventing complications and deaths instead of the cost ineffective focus on preventing infections.

Why ask for something and then ignore the answer just because you don't like it?

All those masks and vaccines are working so well. It must be magic.

Seeing the huge differences with other countries that have been attributed to the use of masks and vaccines that is precisely the case, no need for any magic, just scientifially supported measures that reduce the risk from the infection.

50,294 new coronavirus cases. Still not getting my 4th shot.

I will actually wait until next summer and see if they come up with another booster.

If this happens, I'm done with these damn vaccines for good!
