I'm of the belief that for as long as we can remember, the main bringer in/spreader of COVID in Japan are the Japanese.
Sorry Sven, no chance.
Here in Denmark there are plenty of Japanese tourists. Nobody here would even dream of blaming any sudden spike in infections on Japanese or any other nationality.
Why on earth this narrative is pushed in Japan I don't know

Really? How did you come to that conclusion. The facts are these there is a new variant XBB that has been discover in Singapore and the US. All the variants came from aboard. Those are the scientific facts.

how many cases and deaths were vaccinated?
or its top secret as you have inform us about that at all?

More foreigners in Japan are setting a good example to the Japanese. To stand up and not wear the mask.
Thank you.

…that foreigners or people returning from foreign countries have somehow brought it here, otherwise we hadn’t those problems at all.

Cases seem to be increasing. Is this the start of the 8th wave?

I think most sensible people around the world consider this Covid Lark over now. Of course we have extremists on either side, those who still think Covid isn’t real and those who still believe masks and vaccines are relevant for healthy non seniors and non obese.
Daily love is as before now and businesses are doing better. My only fear is a spike in cases will make someone high up panic and we have another SOE, which would be an immature and regressive move.

Scientifically it seems foreigners visiting Japan are more likely to pick up Coronavirus there, rather than actually bringing it to Japan.
So your comment doesn't really make sense @Larr Flint

Going strong on a total of 0 vaccines and 0 boosters. Getting Covid was the equivalent to the mildest of any sore throat I've ever had. Meanwhile, after contracting the virus, my vaccinated and boosted acquaintances suffered symptoms far worse than I and the handful of others I know who chose to prioritize their health and natural immunity. Must be a coincidence.
