Japan reports 7,013 new coronavirus cases


Japan on Sunday reported 7,013 new coronavirus cases, down 2,087 from Saturday. Tokyo reported 606 new cases, down 199 from Saturday.

The number of infected people hospitalized with severe symptoms nationwide was 107 down two from Saturday, health officials said.

The number of coronavirus-related deaths reported nationwide was 43.

Steven, by that vague definition isn’t the common cold also a pandemic? It too is widespread globally and contributes to countless deaths. Covid is obviously worse than the common cold, but at what point for you will it be considered endemic?
