Tough to convince people to buy these products after they see what these radiations can do to you, even the safest radiations used for medical treatments can have a long term effect on the body, so how can people trust a radio active water in the sea food supply!???

Yeah... it's to the world's advantage that Japan literally POISONS the oceans due to negligence and incompetence. What else do you tell yourself to justify it? You do know that Japanese children will be eating the products, right? When Minama -- I mean, when the next disease due to such incompetence is created you can't come on here and say it couldn't have been predicted, or it's no one's fault, or it's a lie. You also can't say the US military or others are harming the environment off Okinawa by building the new base because clearly you and others who defend the release here don't care at all about the environment.

Stop building NPPs on fault lines. Stop building NPPs altogether. Stop giving them permission to operate well past the limit. Allow every single person affected to sue the government and TEPCO instead of making these preemptive rules where they will get a one-time pittance in exchange for never being able to ask again. Stop supporting companies that lie, cheat, and cover things up. Make TEPCO pay for every cost of clean up instead of further subsidizing them. Make a national power grid. Go green. I could list a whole myriad of other things that can be done to avoid this kind of thing, but you won't want to hear them.

These types of businesses only need to disclose the ingredients and not the origin.

Water is the essence of life, it gives all living things life, it purifies all living things and should be respected by humans. Humans are the only animals who turely understand how vital water really is to all life on this planet, it is not ours to destroy and should be sustained, respected, and kept clean by humans to preserve life for all living things.

About this article, if this plan is to go ahead and this disrespectful deed is done, it should be released in Tokyo Bay and a plan should have already been put in place for compensation to all businesses affected by this utter disrespect to the environment!

30 billion yen is a lot of money. So that is also going to fishermen?

What a joke. You should spend that money on connecting pipes to the tanks so people can drink from it. Or better still, buy US made ALPS that properly filters all the radioactive wastes, not just tritium. When jgov comes up with short cut solutions like this, instead of solving the real problem, you know Japan is doomed.

What a great idea, they should just create a ministry of false rumors and sue the pants out of anybody who says anything they don't like and is more than likely true.

Yeah lets compensate businesses for "rumors" related to our environmental depredations and hotel owners and travel agency owners for any financial difficulties they have been having.
