Wow, this article is full of surprising nuggets. I guess we should be happy that old reactors are being scrapped rather than being given costly life extensions. 100 billion JPY to refurbish two of them seems a lot, but Kansai Electric is already investing 830 billion on updating their remaining seven reactors.
