I know I'm not getting any younger but the prices of some things sure turn me into a grumpy old man.
2500 yen just to go up a building! Some people must be made of money.

No thankyou! very much!!

I did something similar in Aukland, on the Sky Tower (Skywalk) and then did a sort of "controlled bungy" jump off of it. That was fantastic. I'll give this tour a go the next time I'm in Osaka.

I am sure they paid a lot of money to some advertising agency to get that "Edge the Harukasu".

Heights make me regurgitate. Would not want me up there on a windy day.
Aly Rustom
would really suck to be up there and have an earthquake hit...

No bungee jump option??

Not exactly a breathtaking view is it?

Osaka is not in any way a picturesque city, much better sampled at ground level. This is a bizarre thing to do.

What a lovely view of parking lots and grey buildings.

rear view mirror haha LOL!!
Sounds like they don't let you take loose items out there & you are shackled to a rail to prevent anyone from testing their flight skills......

Wish to have that on Sky Tree

¥1000 for twenty meters. Sounds reasonable, but no safely helmets? Hope nobody drops their keitai...
Luddite
Why?

Remember sneaking up the Sears (Willis) Tower in an external orange elevator before the building was opened, and messing around on the roof until we got caught. Better view than Osaka, I reckon.

As a former hang-glider I want to jump! With the right wings, of course. That aside, not much of a view, as some of you said, and that 2500-yen cost, just to go up a rather short 'skyscraper' and take a three-minute walk outside is simply ludicrous. But, from what I've seen of costs for many so-called tourist attractions in Japan, it's par for the course.
Ganbare Japan!
Im really disappointed. My wife is only 141cm so she cannot visit! Maybe I make her wear super high heels to go up! Or better yet -- find another girl to take up lol!!
