Anyways, so far the Typhoon here in Tokyo has been, like many others, somewhat of an Anticlimax, just lots of rain,

It's hardly even raining at the moment here in Chiba

There's a very good reason for that; it hasn't reached you yet so you may have a wild and wet night to come.

Would have been nice to include the areas ordered to evacuate in this article.

Stay safe, don't outside unless you are fully prepared.

This time it's a big one - forecast to hit Shizuoka still as a category four typhoon. Here in Shiga all the trains along the lake have been stranded since 14.00 and wind is still foecast to get much stronger.

Pray the storm move on, and doesn't stall out a few days

Looks like no midnight beer run for me tonight.

Nothing to do outside unless by no means you have to work.

Stay safe and dry :-):-)

Here in Kansai it's raning a lot with occasional strong winds. Not better or worse than most typhoons.

It's strong! In western Japan there are reports of landslides and the house is shuddering throughout. It's not been a direct hit here but Tokyo will be affected in the morning pretty hard!

It's hardly even raining at the moment here in Chiba. Fingers crossed this becomes an anticlimax.

I was out tonight and fortunately in Fukuoka, the typhoon seems to have missed us. The wind is strong but not "typhoon strong". I would say it was only about 20km/hr. No rain either. However, I hope that the rest of Japan stays safe! Don't take any unnecessary chances if the typhoon hits your area.

My shoes are soaking wet. I guess I should buy galoshes or something. But I'd rather have some fancy hi-tech device at the hotel that can dry my shoe in 5 minutes.

Anyways, so far the Typhoon here in Tokyo has been, like many others, somewhat of an Anticlimax, just lots of rain, but nothing that's outstanding.... so far (2100hrs JST)
