Don't be cynical Jimizo. Please wish Princess Kako congratulations on her outstanding achievements. No one will "boot her out".

She's a psychology major. Just what the Imperial family and its agency need.

So why can't Princess Aiko become Empress after her father passes away?

Instead, Princess Aiko becomes Commoner Aiko when she gets married.

I wonder how much of a normal student life she was able to have in Japan. I'm sure they have protocalls for when she went to the UK, but they couldn't have been monitoring non-stop over there. Hopefully she was able to mingle with the local crowd and have a good time.

Yes, they will boot her out.

they get 200M yen when they choose to live as ordinary people. A royalty will lose her status once she decided to get married with a ordinary citizen.

This part is so incredibly sad. I wonder what face she was making as she basically said she would give up her dreams. I wonder who told her to say that. I wonder if she really meant it. And I really hope she decides to follow her own dreams, if she ever gets to make that choice.

In written answers to questions given earlier to the media, the princess said she will devote herself to performing her official duties from now on and not enter graduate school.

"It is not about what I want to do, but about addressing the official duties that have been asked of me," she said. "I do have dreams, but I would like to keep them to myself."

Congratulations on appearing in a black gown, cap, and white high heels.

Omedettoh Princess Kako! Intelligent and beautiful. Amazing to watch her doing sign language fluently on TV which she studied in College.

How much money do you get when the royals boot you out?

I wish to get married in time, at a point that isn't too late. My ideal partner would be someone with whom I can be relaxed

I’m pretty quiet, undemanding and house-trained.
