This is the first time you have labelled him as Mako’s fiancé, well done.

So they didn’t arrest him for not declaring his income in 10 years, lucky man.

Nikkei Sports has pictures of his new hairdo from the side and the back.

I think it looks better than the pony tail. Maybe when he went to America he vowed not to cut his hair till he won his true love again? That would be romantic.

Only 8 days to go and she'll be a free woman.

'bout time too.

I wish them well and hope parasitic Japanese media will leave them alone and we do not have to hear about them ever again...

It's hard to believe, and never explained authoritatively, why this measly $35,000 argument has been allowed to drag on and overshadow everything about their relationship and their marriage. With all of the imperial family's wealth, this should have been put to bed years ago, instead of drawing all of the shame and criticism which could so very easily have been avoided.

From top to bottom Japans systems are continually puzzled by simple answers. I seem to remember a popular song some time ago…. Think it was let it go let it go.

Simple answer is this has nothing to do with politics, nothing to do with foreign countries nothing to do justice system. Take a break.

I bet the Daily Mail ends up chasing them all over NYC trying to get photos of them picking their noses or whatever once they move back.

Wait until she arrives in New York, haven't never been in a city not knowing anyone and with no support!! I can see the stress level breaking red!!! The agency revealed earlier this month the princess has been diagnosed with complex post-traumatic stress disorder caused by what she described as psychological abuse the couple and their families received.

It's not first time she lives outside of Japan. She lived in Austria, Island and England as a student. She has no language issue. She has a degree in museology so that I can imagine that she can get some kind of job related to NYC museums. She will be very happy to be free and in NYC.

THANK YOU for using the word FIANCE rather than boyfriend. They are not junior high school students. GOOD LUCK to them in the future.
