Tokyo reports 1,600 coronavirus cases; nationwide tally 15,600

The Tokyo metropolitan government on Friday reported 1,600 new coronavirus cases, down 276 from Thursday and down 511 from last Friday.

The number of infected people hospitalized with severe symptoms in Tokyo is four, up two from Thursday, health officials said. The nationwide figure is 77, unchanged from Thursday.

Nationwide, the number of reported cases was 15,600. After Tokyo, the prefectures with the most cases were Osaka (1,192), Okinawa (1,440), Hokkaido (942), Aichi (918), Fukuoka (818), Kanagawa (787), Hyogo (664), Saitama (558), Hiroshima (475), Chiba (473), Kumamoto (381), Kagoshima (340), Miyagi (333), Shizuoka (329), Kyoto (324), Gifu (275), Nagano (235), Ibaraki (228), Aomori (222), Okayama (221), Ehime (190), Miyazaki (185) and Ishikawa (164).

The number of coronavirus-related deaths reported nationwide was 21.

The slow drop is probably due to anti infection measures being ignored by the over-excited minority.

I bet over 95% of infected are doubled tripled vaxxed , wearing measks
