The ones sold on Amazon are highly unreliable! Even the information displayed on the product itself states that this product is not accurate. High quality RAT kits are difficult to find. The cheap ones on Amazon are just unreliable ( read a few reviews and you’ll realize it ).

Indeed, vaccines do very little to reduce transmission. But the most dangerous thing is getting the vaccine and thinking you can't transmit, so you get close to the vulnerable not even realizing you're infected.

I must be doing something right...people in their 50s is pretty low. I know I will get this bug someday but not today. I am fully vaccinated and waiting for a letter to get my third....

I ensure I follow protocol/prescribed advice and do my best to keep this bug from entering my house, my place of work, and from me and others (wash my hands, wear a mask, keep my distance from others, etc.). It is the least we can do to put this pandemic at bay.

Please people who are old, obese or has some problem like cancer, high blood pressure, diabete... STAY HIDDEN in a bunker to avoid being infected by the others.

So if you add the 35m who are elderly, and the 6.5m or so physically or mentally disabled people, and then all the cancer patients (1m new cases a year) and diabetics (about 10m). Then throw in a couple of million who are vulnerable by their situation, like children in care, women fleeing domestic violence, homeless people, asylum seekers, prisoners, and add to that the health workers and care workers (another 2 or 3m). Oh, and better add school teachers ( a couple of million?) as that's pretty high risk at the moment, and while we're at it, people working in public transport, shops and supermarkets, delivery....

Of course this is hard to do exactly as there's some crossover between groups ( many of those diabetics and cancer patients are over 65, for example). But we can see that 'vulnerable people' number in the tens of millions, and could be nearly half the population. And that is the point - that's why we have public health, because we need to protect each other.

true, but other countries used up their existing supplies very quickly - Japan never had any to begin with (excluding airport usage) and never ordered any for the general public. Japan is relying on local manufacturers who can't produce enough because they can't find enough workers (was on the news last night) Little old NZ just took a shipment of 36m tests last week because they ordered them 3 months ago.
