Some end of April figures for bed occupancy rates here.

Tokyo at 20% (recently down to 15.4%) according to https://stopcovid19.metro.tokyo.lg.jp/en/

Osaka at 30%, Fukushima at 30%.

The most overburdened system would be Okinawa at 50% bed occupancy.

Currently , there are 328000 people in Japan…. Hospitalized with Covid …. (These factual stats are dated 58 and furnished by the jgov)

https://mainichi.jp/english/covid19

This number does NOT include those in hotels or worse … sent home to recover or die. These numbers are not sustainable and no sane or person with any sense of concern can remotely suggest this is okay …. Or nothing to worry about. Hospitals and healthcare workers around the country are literally on the brink. Call me negative or a fear monger all you want…. I live in the world of reality. Where facts matter . Seems the 3 “C’s) are the new norm for the foreseeable future. Mask up when the 3 C’s can’t be followed people. For your health or the person next to you. Those of you who are still anti everything as related to Covid… join the majority. Get the factual scientific data from here in Japan. Keep safe all.
