Looking at new cases per million Japan is higher than a lot of countries that long abandoned things such as masks and plastic screens months ago.

Time to put covid behind us and get back to the days when we could lick handrails, share toothbrushes, and have a good old time!

@tamanegi

Still pretty high. I would urge the government to only allow foreign tourists into Japan under quasi permission until the number of infections is much lower.

Why? We foreigners aren't the cause of the continuing rise in Tokyo - we've not been allowed in!

Let the tourist in as so many want. I am fine with that.

"Time to put covid behind us and get back to the days when we could lick handrails, share toothbrushes, and have a good old time!” Anyone is allowed to do so.

But, keep those people who are infected away from me. Just keep them in your company/group. I am just concerned about my well-being/family/friends.
