I was at a packed out Ultra Japan over the weekend. Little to no mask wearing - outdoors or indoors.

And all I can say is "great". We should be able to enjoy ourselves - especially when numbers drop this low between waves. Really loving that events like Ultra and fireworks celebrations are back this year.

Noticed there was a fair bit on the news tonight about why the royals including emporer et al weren’t wearing masks yet everyone in Japan still has to. The tide is changing!

I may be completely wrong, but once the numbers in Tokyo started spiralling out of control, and the government felt ashamed by their worldwide record, didn't they stop counting most cases?

That's it? Must be holiday numbers... can't possibly decreased by a factor of 10 in a single day...
