The Tokyo metropolitan government on Wednesday reported 3,929 new coronavirus cases, up 658 from Tuesday and down 426 from last Wednesday.
The number of infected people hospitalized with severe symptoms in Tokyo is four, unchanged from Tuesday, health officials said. The nationwide figure is 103, up three from Tuesday.
Nationwide, the number of reported cases was 35,190. After Tokyo, the prefectures with the most cases were Osaka (2,927), Aichi (2,392), Hokkaido (2,094), Okinawa (2,081), Fukuoka (1,935), Kanagawa (1,707), Hyogo (1,586), Saitama (1,233), Hiroshima (1,070), Kyoto (983), Chiba (965), Shizuoka (820), Okayama (674), Kumamoto (598), Kagoshima (582), Gifu (556), Miyazaki (523), Ishikawa (506), Miyagi (487), Nagano (441), Nagasaki (411), Niigata (409), Oita (377), Shiga (363), Nara (359), Ibaraki (346), Fukushima (343), Gunma (330), Yamaguchi (321), Kagawa (314), Saga (281), Aomori (280), Iwate (271), Tochigi (267), Kochi (224), Toyama (224), Wakayama (224), Fukui (223), Ehime (211) and Yamagata (199).
The number of coronavirus-related deaths reported nationwide was 43.

Awesome!! With every week it goes down.
I actually like the gradual descent rather than a sudden jump. gradual is more stable.
Some were predicting massive spikes because a golden week. Never happened.
