Lets keep those borders closed...

Thank you... I prefer the numbers low.

Something doesn't quite match concerning the article:

The nationwide figure is 27, but Tokyo 30 new cases?

The number of infected people hospitalized with severe symptoms nationwide is 27

Very high, Covid is coming back!

Please be careful, Kapan!

An honest question: Will we have to continue this frenzy up to the Omega variant? (and furthermore with another alphabet...)

And 26 of the 190 nationwide today were found at ports of entry for international arrivals, all of whom tested negative within 72 hours prior to boarding their flights to Japan.

And in other related news, Tokyo has had its first non-airport Omicron positive case:

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government confirmed its first case of the omicron variant of the coronavirus in a woman in her 20s who has been quarantining at home after arriving from the U.S., Gov. Yuriko Koike said Thursday.

The new finding has brought the cumulative number of omicron cases in Japan to 33.

A close contact of the omicron patient has also tested positive for COVID-19, the central government’s top spokesman said. The close contact, a man in his 20s, attended a soccer game in Kawasaki on Sunday.

and...

Two coronavirus-related deaths were reported.

So, 2 out and 2 in. The total number of people in the ICU has not changed, but the people in there have, obviously.

I posted here in the beginning that this virus is here to stay, it is not going away anytime soon. Just as soon as the people get relaxed it comes back like Jason 13th. In other words people we are going to have to live with this monster just as we live with the flu and continue to wear pampers on our faces.

Those 27 critical patients are really taking their sweet time recovering. It's been weeks now.

As long as it is Omicron All good!

For anyone interested in the reality of Omicron which is looking like a wonderful Christmas present have a look at the Sth Africa statistics! Look at the daily new cases compared with the death rates! Daily new cases the highest they have ever been but the death rate has no moved up at all! Great news for an end to this madness!

Really @Sanjinosebleed. Has South Africa become that anti vaxxers love child because one doctor reported mild symptoms? Do you have nothing more to offer than that for two weeks now? 'All good'? I am in no way implying disaster, but 'All Good'? Seriously?

Ummm...look at the data in the link provided then comment! That is not one doctor that is hard evidence. But lets create fear and hysteria instead of reality...wow just wow!
