Is testing free and can anyone get tested when they want to? Didn't think so. Utter fake numbers.

who cares? We care more about the reality here, on the ground, in Tokyo, still pretty much the epicenter of things… life goes on.

Talking about Covid past present and future is necessary
The whole “overdose on horse paste” MSM global tsunami story just when bottoms up as the doctor who treated the fellow from Texas said it wasn’t true. I also remember some very very very nasty things said about Your President Trump and allowed to stay on here. Now even hint at any negative Biden comment and wooosh it’s gone. Oh, and don’t ever mention Assange either.

I wonder if the number of "breakthrough" cases among the "new" cases will ever be reported. Certainly some percentage greater than zero.

Thanks for the useless infection report, BUT HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE DYING? THAT used to be a standard part of any COVID report...

Yeah, anti-vaxxers will just keep on looking for excuses not to get vaccinated. The fact is unvaccinated is 100 times more likely to die than vaccinated - and it’s not up to your opinion.

aah, I’ve missed all this complaining about the numbers

Tom Donley; whether Japan has 200 new cases or 200.000 new cases, will it change the fact that today we had zero deaths? Will it change the fact that in Tokyo has only 2 hospitalized people?
Mitsuo Matsuyama
From October 14th we had 18.020 deaths and today the tottal number is 18.387.
It is about 350 deaths in more than two months.
From September 17th we had 17.030 deaths and October 14th we had 18.020
It is about 1000 deaths in less than one month.
A lot of things improved, but we still need to keep doing our part by following the rules.

Where is the mistake? 44 is nationwide. The 2 which I mentioned is regarding Tokyo only.

"The nationwide figure is 44, up six from Sunday."
In the U.S. it's in the thousands, isn't it? All things considered elsewhere, 44 is a damn low number for this time of the year.

The number of "infected" only reflects testing, and the real number is probably in the millions, here as there. But how do you call infection with few or no symptoms?
