These numbers just aren’t falling as falsely predicted…… in some good news though …. Active hospitalizations had a nice drop yesterday ….

Hospitalizations 331,373

Change from previous day

-5,809

It would sure be nice if the healthcare system can get a much deserved break …

If you are vaxed, previously infected, or both there is nothing to be scared of.

-2 ( +8 / -10 )

But there seems to be a downward trend, no?

No, unless you only consider Tokyo to be pertinent to the discussion!

We have had well over 30,000 new cases since May first here, hardly a "downward trend"

Cases Requiring Hospitalization 330,661 https://corona.go.jp/en/dashboard/

divided by active cases 396,503 https://covid19japan.com/

83.3% hospitalization rate in Japan for Covid19 patients as of May 18th.

If those numbers are true. This is not over at all.

At least there’s a viewable consistency to @Yubaru and @Steven Mccarthy’s comments. Before anyone answers your questions directing the conversation, where are yours @Pepepopo?

@pepepopo It's not cumulative. Look at the graph. It goes down. If it was cumulative, it would go up and up, and would shower slower rate of increase over time. Highschool stuff I guess.

As I pointed out to those who can and will read …. This number can be a plus or minus on any given day. But there are those who still think corona is nothing to worry about…. And they hate fact based data supplied by the jgov. Not me . So if people would do their part to help mitigate the spread of Covid …. We could start to get back to whatever your individual normalcy looks like . So … you anti everything minority…. Get vaccinated. Follow the “3 C’s”. Curb your reckless behaviors while we get this curtailed….. the healthcare system remains over stressed….

Regarding everyday cases we're still well above the peak of previous wave

But regarding daily deaths we're thankfully well below last wave's peak

I already did come back to my normal life a while ago and I am not doing any of the things you are asking. And you can’t do anything about it. You can keep for yourself your paranoia and distorsion of reality since you keep saying baseless things.

The number of hospitalized people you keep posting here is meaningless at this point. I also note that you did not chose to use the number of people hospitalized with severe symptoms since the ridiculously low number can’t really help you in your disinformation. The number of hospitalized people outside of the severe cases are first of all mild to moderate symptoms and it is artificially augmented by the fact that Japan stupidity continue to use an isolation policy which puts people in hospitals even if they don’t need to.

But anyway the virus, which is totally benign for the population of individuals who are not elderlies or have comorbidities, is so endemic that it is basically meaningless now to use blindly hospitalization figures.

Good luck Daito . I hope you get over them soon .!. Anyone who has been infected with Covid 19 has a dramatically higher chance of developing damaged organs than those who weren’t. And the studies are just getting started .

Regarding the first comment on this, the info presented is incorrect, so don’t panic

The number of over 300,000 is actually case numbers

The current hospitalizations is below 10,000 and those is severe condition is far less
