The Tokyo metropolitan government on Thursday reported 62 new coronavirus cases, down 10 from Wednesday and 81 down from last Thursday.
The average for Tokyo over the past seven days stands at 77.1.
The number of infected people hospitalized with severe symptoms in Tokyo was 40, three down from Wednesday, health officials said. The nationwide figure was 381, down 32 from Wednesday.
Nationwide, the number of reported cases was 619. Osaka had the most cases with 112, followed by Tokyo, Kanagawa (52), Hokkaido (45), Aichi (35), Saitama (35), Okinawa (33), Hiroshima (30), Hyogo (30), Fukuoka (25). and Chiba (19).
The number of coronavirus-related deaths reported nationwide was 33.

there were 34 on 10/13 compared to 89 a month ago. Sounds like a decrease to me

What’s the deal with all the conspiracy theories? If you are going to call it lies, you need to have some evidence.
The population has a high vaccination rate and the masses are still acting quite responsibly, it makes sense that we are seeing low numbers.
