And hand sanitiser never worked in the first place. The thing is airborne FGS!

I quite like the hand sanitizer thing, I sometimes spend the afternoon going from shop to shop drenching my hands in isopropanol and timing how long it takes them to dry.

Gonna miss it when we beat Covid yet again.

What does that mean? That clinics are being directed to test less or that the number of people getting tested are getting less

It means most just buy RATs online for 500 yen each , have them delivered and then find out the result and don't report it (they are not required to or encouraged to) and just recover over a few days. I know tons of people who have been doing just that recently. Indeed I did it myself. Felt off with a sore throat, and ordered two kits from Amazon which were delivered tonight. Negative. Even if positive, I would solider on as per usual.

The reasons is that up to 80%+ of people don't even have symptoms. And whty do they still use hand sanitiser and those fake instant temperature machines evetywhere in Japan when the latest variants not likely to even give you a temperature. And hand sanitiser never worked in the first place. The thing is airborne FGS!

It would appear the fat lady is singing. She has been for some time but sadly the alarmists refused to listen. That these stories are still reported every day when most of the rest of the world has moved on - yes, even without the masks, is part of the problem.

Numbers falling rapidly despite the vast majority acting as they did before apart from wearing masks. Let’s hope this is almost the next of this ghastly Covid business, people can start living stress free, feel positivity and have an optimistic look on the future

Testing is also going down according to a circular going round clinics in Japan. Source: someone who works in the industry.

In a nation with over 100 million people, there are 519 hospitalized with severe enough cases. Time to move on. Nothing to see here. It is like the flu. Worried about the flu? Get a flu shot. Worried about covid? Get a covid shot. You cannot reduce the risk of everything. Los Angeles County hospital doctors are having to remind their workers that they haven't had anyone come in with a severe case. This is with lots of infection going on. Lots of numbers in the US are of people who go to the hospital for some other condition and test positive. They don't know they even had covid. PS. I spent a week long trip to Florida from LA in late April/early May. Never wore a mask. I go to Tokyo in mid May. Tested negative on Saturday in LA. Tested negative again when I arrived in Tokyo on Tuesday (essentially really late Monday Los Angeles time). Scratchy throat on Saturday. Shockingly positive on Sunday. No fever. Mild cough and congestion. Hardly any symptoms by Saturday. Milder than any cold ever. I don't like getting sick so I vaccinated for the flu every year now I'll get them for covid. Time to move on.

the trend is your friend!

open up and move on!

That's a 26% decrease from the same day a week ago, and down 51% from the same day two weeks ago.

Things are looking promising, good trend across the board. Fortunately we managed the peak a few weeks ago without getting too close to capacity in the health sector.

Now it's a matter of watching it continue to fall and hopefully soon returning to pre-pandemic life, including travel regulations.
