Towards the central Pacific might be a better title as it does a U-turn and veers further and further away from central Japan.

No-one, with the exception of poster 'wanderlust' cut-and-paste-job, has used the name of the typhoon. Why not? Does the name not roll naturally off your tongue? After all, the name of a typhoon named after a tree in Cambodia should instantly come to mind, should it not?

Why would anyone need to? It's in the article and we are all talking about the same, single typhoon.

After all, the name of a typhoon named after a tree in Cambodia should instantly come to mind, should it not?
