Good to see women in the military having command positions.

Its for china

I don't think that a big show of military might either in the air or at sea is sensible, when your starting sensitive negotiations, no wonder Kimmi is starting to back out. Also it reenforces NK rhetoric, need for nuclear defences if the USA is showing off and flexing its big military muscles, may be it would be better if the USA started to tone down any sort of threat, move some troops back to the USA, this way Kimmi might just see that the USA are not one big threat.

why? gender should not make any difference

And yet, for the entire history of humanity, it has.

This destroyer should be a great asset for the 7th fleet. That is if the Navy can avoid wrecking it due to incompetence on the bridge.

It’s no secret that the PC Navy has different standards that work to the advantage of females over men. There was a lot of affirmative action going on back when I was in the Navy. It must be 10 times worse now.

Excellent news. Prepare for Peace Summits soon, Ready for War. USA always has Japans back. Thanks USA, Trump and Pence.

Keeping the pressure on. Show that the US is prepared to go either way. "The ball is in your court." I totally agree.

What about subs?

Prepare for Peace Summits soon, Ready for War.

Ironies aside, it's a sad state of affairs that there is so much beligerence and flexing of muscles in the region.

Can the US war machine take it elsewhere, please, like back to their own region?

Wonder how effective these Missiles really are ?

Hopefully the captain can keep her crew off that Yokosuka LSD.

The U.S also has submarines (boomers and fast attack) over there but that is rarely reported on and they are far more effective weaponry.

Dealing with N. Korean dictator is always like a making sex with crazy woman. You don't know when she will change her mind and squeeze your balls. Pardon me.

Trump shows that he never wanted peace and stability in the region. The tension is profitable for him.

Using the threat of NK nuke he can explain the deployment of the Asian element of global antimissile shield which is indeed produced to neutralize Chinese nuke potential.

Gunboat diplomacy at its finest.

The Imperium's war machine rolls into town with another piece of expensive hardware and a token sop to the PC crowd. But know this Tokyoites: Yokosuka is a giant target in any conflict and you will be just so much collateral damage in the eyes of your masters.

Yup. Better in those roles than army combat roles tbh.

Good point, Ganbare. That means Japan doesn't need to change the constitution with the US at the helm...

Putting so much trust in the U.S is a mistake. The Japanese should put trust in themselves.

And yet, for the entire history of humanity, it has.

Sure, we all have a role to play

USA always has Japans back. Thanks USA,

It is better for Japan to have Japan's back. Japan should bulid up its navy. It should also go nuclear. I say about 600 h bombs. 300 for china and 300 for korea.
