How tacky.
rainyday
It is at least a step up from the fake plastic churches that are normally used here.

"I'm sorry, you paid what for this?"
"1.5 million, darling."
"I want a divorce" (*hard slap in the face)

another hair brained scheme from ANA..

I can see proposals in planes, but weddings? Who thinks of these things?

So, wait, let me get this straight.
For over a year, we have avoided airport and airplanes as much as possible due to the pandemic. This is world wide now.
many other countries have since been vaccinated and are now just opening up, and flights are becoming regular again.
EXCEPT IN JAPAN. It’s still for all intensive purposes, March 2020 in Japan.
Yet these airlines want to hold weddings in the places we have been avoiding for over a year due to the coronavirus?
they wanna serve food, have the crew in there and accommodate up to 30 guests?
so basically your going to pay money to help spread a virus during a pandemic.............
ANA, you need to fire your PR, creative geniuses and anyone else involved in this scheme, real quick like. Seriously, who green light that crap?!

The sad thing is I can actually see many Japanese paying big bucks for this. Rather you than me.

A little odd, but people might very well purchase the service. To each is their own.

Dunno what it is about Japanese and planes. The second I board one is the second I wanna disembark.

I will fly in on ANA.
Get rejected by customs.
Return to plane with a woman
Get married
Leave plane and try to re-enter Japan as Spouse
now that’s a plan!

How extraordinarily romantic, the kerosine smell, walking up the gangway alone and panicking about the dress as well as the expensive food in narrow seats and served on reusable trays…lol

Of all the places I never wanted to have a wedding!
How can the FOTB walk her down the aisle? He'd have to put her on a drink cart and push/pull her!

I think anyone who would propose getting married on a grounded plane isn't worthy of a hand to marry, but that's me. I know it's popular here to do "runway tours" at a few thousand yen a pop when a new runway is opened, or even for some to go shopping at an airport (was HUGE when Chubu opened), but this should never fly.

why would anyone want to spend any time on a plane when they dont have to?

Correct. Some of the classiest wedding photos I've seen while out and about are the newly wedded couple on an old tramcar, or and old train sometimes with a steam loco with fire in the belly. Boeing Economy class for a wedding? I repeat - tacky.
